The main difference that I see is that it uses all four channels for the input as opposed to the two channel versions that can use either the front or rear channels. I would guess that the NVX would work similarly if you only hooked up a pair of speakers (either front or rears).
 
yep, standard install of a LOC. if you run some Speedwire 9C (as mentioned) you can save time. i would put split loom on it and secure it as often as factory wiring is secured.

but with our Accords we want bass restoration to combat the factory bass roll-off. and you may want a LOC with auto turn-on so if you shut the head unit off, the amp turns off. that video assumes the HU is always on.

you want a 4 channel LOC to maintain fader when replacing all speakers. but some amps have high level inputs so you'd just have another run of Speedwire (or 9-wire) back to the amp.

i prefer to solder connections but a properly sized crimper and crimp can work.
