Any information on the 2014 model year changes/updates?

I understand the Accord was just released 5 months ago, but 2014 model year will be here before you know it. I'll be in the market for an Accord within the next 90 days, so not sure if I should pick up a 2013 Sport CVT Sedan, or wait until 2014....?

If by "be here before you know it" you mean 6 months, sure... they'll be here before you know it.

Changes? Nope. There won't be any real changes until the MMC which will probably be in 2016... unless you consider software updates and bug fixes to be changes.

Its cheaper to put in heated seats then to put in a stereo. I know lots of people that have done it. It's relatively simple.

Really liking the 9th gen and would love one. But, the '09 is paid in full and don't want to stretch payments for years on a new car just to have it.
Makes Perfect sense. I have an 09, it's a great car for the most part. If it was paid for I might be in the same boat....or I'd keep it and buy a second one knowing me :)

I wouldn't be surprised if there are some very minor things changed for 2014. I know it's not Honda's typical practice, but things like the driver side mirror and a few minor things might be updated.

Sometimes they may change some minor stuff but nothing major until the MMC. They "might" add split folding seats or a light in the glove box...again, nothing major if the do make a change.

You're joking right?:paranoid:

By then those acura's are gone (tsx, tl). Yeah, check their press release..
Tsx will be exclusively sold as v6 on Special order only. tl will be discontinued to bring out the tlx. I've been eyeing myself on nd upgrade to acuras...but still on a broke A$$ college student budget...

I think in 3-4 years I'll sell my Sport and get an Acura TSX 6MT. Oh the joy I will have with that :lmao:
only reason i didnt get a 1st gen TSX was the MPG. i see this 9th accord as being a more mature and efficient TSX. (especially since japan gets the TSX as the honda accord euro R)

back on topic, i agree with little tweaks like driver side mirror. pre-packed with the firmware update. maybe the siri integration. stuff like that.
i wouldnt hold your breath for anything significant. that would be MMC stuff for sure. now if you wanted a civic just wait a few minutes im sure they will totally redesign a few times before i post this lol

putting all thier effort into the new NSX? letting the rest suffer?

and now the only "sport" model they really have is the civic?
gone are the RSX, prelude, and s2000. the search for MPG is all i can suspect for dropping sportier models. oh yeah i guess we could supercharge a CR-Z? *rolleyes*

Acura is going down the SHlTTER FAST.

They expect to compete in the large luxury segment with the new RLX which is just a long wheelbase 9th gen Accord. BWHUAHA
Acura is not dead yet. I think actually that they are coming back.....

2012 sales were up significantly for Acura:
